Player safety
Community Guidelines
Neonhex communities should be safe, fair, and welcoming. These Community Guidelines apply when you use chat, usernames, profiles, guilds, reports, support messages, and other social or user-generated content features in Neonhex games and services. They supplement our Terms & Conditions.
You are responsible for the content you share and for how you interact with other players. Context matters, but attempts to disguise prohibited conduct through altered spelling, coded language, images, links, or repeated behavior still violate these rules.
Respect other people
Do not post, send, promote, or encourage:
- Harassment, hate, or threats: bullying, intimidation, stalking, targeted abuse, credible threats, or content that attacks or dehumanizes people based on protected characteristics.
- Sexual or obscene content: sexually explicit material, sexual solicitation, graphic obscenity, or any sexual content involving or targeting minors.
- Personal data sharing: sharing, requesting, or threatening to expose another person's private or identifying information, including addresses, phone numbers, passwords, account credentials, financial details, or precise location, without authorization.
- Illegal or dangerous content: content that facilitates unlawful activity, exploitation, violence, self-harm, illegal goods or services, or other conduct that creates a serious risk of harm.
Keep the community trustworthy
Do not engage in:
- Scams or phishing: attempts to steal accounts, credentials, money, virtual items, or personal information; deceptive giveaways; fraudulent trades; or false payment and support requests.
- Spam: repeated unwanted messages, disruptive flooding, unsolicited advertising, or coordinated attempts to overwhelm chats, reports, or support channels.
- Impersonation: pretending to be another player, Neonhex employee, moderator, support representative, creator, or organization in order to deceive or cause harm.
- Harmful links: links to malware, phishing pages, credential theft, scams, illegal content, exploits, or destinations intended to harm users, devices, accounts, or the service.
Play fairly
Cheating and exploitation are prohibited. Do not use bots, scripts, modified clients, unauthorized third-party tools, automation, collusion, account manipulation, bug exploits, or other methods that create an unfair advantage or interfere with gameplay, rankings, rewards, purchases, chat, or service integrity. If you discover a vulnerability or exploit, do not abuse or distribute it; report it to support@neonhex.com.
Report messages and block players
If a chat message violates these guidelines, use the report action available on that message and choose the most accurate reason. Reports should be made in good faith; coordinated or knowingly false reports are prohibited. A report helps us review the reported message and relevant context but does not guarantee a particular outcome.
You can also use the available block control to stop or limit direct interaction with another player. Blocking is a personal safety tool and does not itself submit a moderation report. If the behavior may violate these guidelines, report the relevant message as well as blocking the player.
If an in-app report or block control is unavailable, or if you need help with conduct that cannot be reported through a message, contact support@neonhex.com with your Player ID, the other player's display name or Player ID if known, what happened, when it happened, and screenshots if available. Do not put yourself at further risk to collect evidence. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
Moderation and enforcement
Neonhex may review reports, relevant content, account and gameplay records, and available technical information to investigate suspected violations. We may use automated safeguards and authorized human review where available and appropriate. We do not promise that every report will receive an individual response or disclose confidential details about action taken against another player.
Enforcement depends on severity, context, account history, risk to players, and applicable law. Actions may include a warning, content removal, chat restrictions or mutes, feature restrictions, temporary suspension, or account termination. Serious violations may result in immediate suspension or termination, and repeated violations may lead to escalating restrictions or permanent termination. We may preserve or disclose information when reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, or comply with applicable law and lawful requests.
Appeals and support
If you believe an enforcement decision affecting your account was made in error, email support@neonhex.com. Include your Player ID, the decision you are appealing, and any relevant context. Appeals are reviewed based on the information available and do not guarantee that a decision will be changed. Abusive, duplicate, or fraudulent appeals may be closed without further response.
Changes to these guidelines
We may update these Community Guidelines as our games, community features, safety tools, or legal obligations change. The effective and version date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
